KVJ. Prof. Dr. R. Ganesan earned his Doctorate in Entrepreneurship Development with a special focus on Women Entrepreneurs in Food Processing Enterprises from the renowned Indian Institutes of Technology, Delhi in 2003. He started his academic career as lecturer in mid 2005 and served in various academia ranging from Deemed University, B-School, Engineering Colleges, Arts & Science College and went up to the International Varsity within a short period. He attained the professorial stature in June 2008 and has published more than 71 research papers to his credit in refereed & indexed journals, book chapters and seminars & conferences at international and national levels. It includes two books titled “Prospects of Women Entrepreneurship Development and  Perception  on  Privatization  of  Insurance  Sector  in  Rural  India:  A  Customer  Centric  & Strategic Management Approach” which has been published at Germany in 2010 & 2013 respectively. His journal publications are indexed in ISI, Scopus, SSRN, ASOS, EBSCO, MLA, Cabell’s Directory respectively. His international recognition includes his professional memberships & services in refereed organizations, programme committees; editorial advisory & review boards, wherein he has been a reviewer cum editorial member for 14 refereed and indexed journals published at USA, Europe & India. He has edited more than 90 international research papers to his credit since, 2002. He is the Founder & Chairman of the reputed National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development (NFED) in July 2003 having its head quarters at Coimbatore, which is into promulgating entrepreneurship awareness, research, opportunity guidance and social sensation amongst youths, students at colleges, women and downtrodden who are aspiring to become vibrant entrepreneurs & enterprising personalities. He has conducted and delivered numerous training programmes, guest lectures, sessions, workshops, faculty development programmes in entrepreneurship & research and development for students and faculties at various institutions, colleges, varsities, etc. Also, he is the Coordinator for Academic Institutions (Schools & Colleges) to Tamil Nadu State under Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) Education – A National Development Agency promoted by Government of India. Besides, his significant academic stint, he also received many accolades. To mention few, he was a recipient of Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CREED) Fellowship Award from Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad in 1999 and the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship Award for Doctoral Studies in 2000 at New Delhi and respectively. He has been conferred with Karma Veer Puraskaar (KVP) Award in 2011 in accordance with right every wrong through building citizen in action under social transformation / entrepreneurship category. He is the recipient of Karma Veer Jyoti (KVJ) the highest honour conferred on KVP awardees for their sustained citizen action to be the change and make a difference in the world through their social services, which is endorsed on Karma Veer Puraskaar. Prof. Dr. R. Ganesan on 22nd March 2015 for his commemorative contribution to the society by Indian Confederation of Non-Governmental Organizations (iCONGO), New Delhi.
